Best Fit
Businesses, organizations, communications teams and brands that need a steady stream of useful short-form content without a large agency structure.
I’m David Mathew Bonner, owner of David Mathew Bonner Video Productions. I’m based in Drayton Valley and regularly work with businesses and organizations in Edmonton, Central Alberta and across the province. I create marketing videos, short-form social content and platform-ready reels for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, with a focus on clear messaging, strong pacing, useful hooks and content that supports a real business goal.
David Mathew Bonner Video Productions creates short-form marketing video, social media reels and campaign content for Edmonton and Alberta businesses. Projects can include planning, filming, interviews, product or service demonstrations, vertical capture, captions, graphics, photography, editing and multiple platform versions. Most work is handled directly by David Mathew Bonner so the person planning the message is also responsible for filming and shaping the final edits.

Short-form video works best when it has a clear purpose. It may need to introduce a product, explain a service, build familiarity, support recruitment, show proof, promote an event or move a viewer toward a next step. I build platform-ready edits for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn with strong openings, clean pacing, useful captions and calls to action that fit the campaign rather than simply filling a feed.
Short-form video can support very different goals: launch something new, explain a service, answer a common question, build familiarity, show proof, recruit staff, recap an event or keep a larger campaign active between major releases. The format should follow the business objective and the audience rather than forcing every idea into the same style.
Short-form content is usually viewed quickly, often without sound at first, and in a feed full of competing material. That means the opening, framing, captions, pacing and first visible idea matter. I edit for clarity and attention without turning every video into the same hyperactive style. The pace should fit the subject, brand and audience.
I use AI selectively when it solves a real creative or production problem. That can include audio cleanup, concept development, restoration-style treatments, stylized transitions, graphics or a generated visual that would be impossible or impractical to capture. Authentic products, people, workplaces and real footage remain the foundation when they are the better choice.
If you want short-form content that supports a real marketing goal, tell me what you are trying to sell, explain, promote or prove, who needs to see it and where the content will be used. From there we can decide whether you need a focused reel, a batch-content shoot, editing-only support or a larger video production that also creates social cutdowns.
