Video Production Services for Edmonton & Alberta Businesses

Owner-operated by David Mathew Bonner since 2001

I’m David Mathew Bonner, owner of David Mathew Bonner Video Productions. I’m based in Drayton Valley and regularly work in Edmonton, Central Alberta, and across the province. Since 2001, I’ve planned, filmed, and edited corporate videos, interviews, recruitment and training content, brand stories, marketing videos, photography, drone footage, and post-production. Most projects are handled directly by me from first conversation to final delivery; when a production genuinely needs more crew or specialized support, I scale it appropriately without adding unnecessary layers.

Who I Work With & How Production Is Handled

David Mathew Bonner Video Productions works primarily with small and medium-sized businesses and organizations across Alberta, while continuing to handle select larger corporate, internal, and NDA-based productions. The model is simple: one experienced producer stays close to the project, and the production only gets larger when the work actually requires it.

Businesses & Communications Teams

Corporate communications, marketing teams, owners, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, municipalities, schools, industrial companies, and other Alberta organizations that need professional content without a complicated production chain.

One Point of Contact

For most projects, I handle planning, interviews, camera, lighting, audio, b-roll, editing, and delivery myself. That keeps the message consistent and means you are talking directly to the person making the production decisions.

Scalable When Needed

Some productions need a second camera, dedicated photography, additional audio, or specialized support. When that is genuinely useful, I can build the right-sized crew while remaining your main production contact.

Common Questions

+ How much do projects cost?

Standard filming rates begin at $850 for a half day and $1,500 for a full day. Editing is $100 per hour. Complete project pricing depends on planning, locations, filming, graphics, travel, and final deliverables. Review the pricing page or contact me with your rough idea.

+ What is the usual timeline?

Most standard projects reach a first review draft within 7 to 14 business days after filming. Larger projects, multiple deliverables, and complex graphics may take longer. Faster turnaround can often be arranged when it is planned in advance.

+ Do you offer photography with video?

Yes. Selected projects can combine video with headshots, product photography, event coverage, editorial images, and supporting campaign stills. Combining both services in one production plan helps keep the visual style consistent and can save time on location.

+ Where are you based and what areas do you serve?

I’m based in Drayton Valley, Alberta and regularly work in Edmonton, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Sherwood Park, Red Deer, and communities across Central Alberta. I also travel elsewhere in Alberta and across Canada for select projects.

+ Can one videographer handle a corporate production?

Yes. Many corporate productions are efficiently handled by one experienced producer. I can manage planning, interviews, camera, lighting, audio, b-roll, editing, and delivery directly. If the job genuinely needs more cameras or specialized support, I can scale the crew while remaining your main point of contact.

+ Do you work on confidential or NDA-based projects?

Yes. I can work on internal, confidential, and NDA-based corporate projects where discretion, controlled access, careful handling of footage, and dependable delivery matter.

+ How do you use AI in video production?

I use AI selectively when it genuinely improves the work — for example audio enhancement, cleanup, concept development, or generated visual elements that would be difficult or impossible to capture another way. I do not use AI simply because it is available; real footage and real people remain the better choice whenever authenticity matters.
