School’s Out Bash – Drayton Christian School 2024
A few times a year, I get to point my camera at something that matters personally. The School’s Out Bash at Drayton Christian School is one of those. I volunteered my time on this one. My child goes here. It was my way of giving back to a community I’m proud to be part of.
What I Tried to Capture
Joy, kindness, and the little moments between the moments — teachers high-fiving kids, families visiting, games that turn into laughter. It is simple Alberta life, and that is worth remembering.
How It Was Shot
Lightweight run-and-gun, natural light where possible, and just enough movement to keep the energy up without stealing attention from the people. A quick grade to keep colors clean and warm. The piece is short, honest, and easy to share.
Gratitude
Thank you to the DCS staff, volunteers, and families for a great day and for letting me document it. I am grateful to serve where I live.
