I’m David Mathew Bonner, the owner and videographer behind David Mathew Bonner Video Productions. I’m based in Drayton Valley and regularly work in Edmonton and Central Alberta, creating corporate interviews, brand stories, recruitment videos, training content, testimonials, events and documentary-style projects for businesses and organizations.

Most projects are handled directly by me from planning and filming through editing and delivery. That means the person behind the camera is also thinking about the story, the sound, the edit and what the finished video actually needs to accomplish.

Because I plan, film and edit most projects myself, I am making decisions on location with the finished piece in mind: what answer we still need, which b-roll will actually support it, where the audio matters most, and what can be captured efficiently without turning the day into a production circus.

I am not pretending to be physically based in Edmonton. David Mathew Bonner Video Productions is based in Drayton Valley, Alberta, and Edmonton is one of my primary production markets. I regularly travel into the city and surrounding communities for interviews, corporate shoots, healthcare projects, training content, brand stories and events.

My primary focus today is helping small and medium-sized businesses and organizations get experienced production without the cost and complexity of a traditional agency structure. I also continue to take on select larger corporate and confidential NDA-based projects when the fit is right.

Are you based in Edmonton?

No. I am based in Drayton Valley, Alberta, and regularly work in Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Leduc, Spruce Grove and communities across Central Alberta. Edmonton is a primary service market, but I do not claim an Edmonton office.

Do you handle both filming and editing?

Yes. I personally handle planning, filming, interviews, camera, lighting, audio and editing for most projects. That gives the production one consistent creative direction from the first conversation to final delivery.

Can one videographer handle a corporate video?

Often, yes. Interviews, b-roll, training content, testimonials and many corporate projects can be handled efficiently by one experienced videographer. When a project genuinely needs a second camera, photographer or specialized crew, the production can scale without adding unnecessary layers.

Do you offer both video and photography?

Yes. Selected projects can combine video and photography in the same production day, including brand photos, portraits, event coverage, product images and supporting stills.
