Fall / Winter 2026 • Rural & West-Central Alberta

The Alberta Independence Rate

This fall and winter I’m setting aside limited room for a few smaller local projects. If your business is working through a tough stretch and I believe video or photo content can genuinely help, I may be able to make the numbers easier.

LIMITED FALL / WINTER AVAILABILITY • AT LEAST 25% BELOW MY STANDARD PRODUCTION RATES

A Hand Up, Not A Handout

Rural Alberta is personal to me. I’m third generation here. My grandfather worked in the mines at Nordegg, then settled near Spedden, Alberta, where he ploughed the fields and built a life. Nearly a century later, my cousin still lives there.

I believe in independence, hard work and helping your neighbour when you can. Some of us need a hand up, not elbows up. This rate is one small way I can help a few rural Alberta businesses get over a hump without turning a modest project into a major expense.

There is no application and no qualification process. I only want to take on projects I can believe in, where I believe my experience can make a real impact, and only when my regular schedule leaves enough room to do the work properly.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow...” Ecclesiastes 4:9–10, KJV

Keep It Small. Make It Count.

The goal is not to build a bigger production. It is to figure out the smallest useful project that can actually help.

One focused shoot can often create a main video, shorter clips and supporting photos.

At Least 25% Below My Standard Rates

For the few projects I take on under the Alberta Independence Rate, I’ll charge at least 25% below my standard production rates. I’ll also look for ways to keep the scope smaller before that rate is applied.

This is only available as my schedule allows. I may not be the right fit for what you need, and I’ll tell you if I’m not. If I take it on, it is because I believe in the project and believe I can help.

The lower rate comes out of my fee — not the care I put into the work. I still want to create something useful, honest and effective, and work that honours Christ and brings glory to Him.

From Concept To Creation

Lean Production. Heavy Content.

I take as much of the production weight off you as I can. You know your business from the inside; I bring an outside perspective, fresh ideas and experience shaping messages for the people you are actually trying to reach.

We agree on an approach together, then I build the production around it — keeping the process lean while creating content that can keep working long after the shoot is over.

One focused production can often give you a main video, shorter edits, interview clips, photographs and other useful pieces for your website, social media and sales material.

Company & Service VideosClear explanation of who you are and what you do.
Product & Equipment VideoUseful demonstrations and real-world visuals.
Recruitment & TrainingContent that helps people understand the work before they arrive.
Short-Form & SocialReusable clips from the same organized shoot.
PhotographySupporting images for web, social and sales material.
Web-Ready DeliverablesUseful files and versions that you or whoever manages your site can put to work.

Limited By Time. Chosen By Impact.

I can only do this for a few businesses this fall and winter. I’m focusing on rural and West-Central Alberta, including Drayton Valley, Rocky Mountain House, Entwistle and nearby communities.

I Need To Believe I Can Help

This is not first-come, first-served and it is not something you qualify for. It comes down to my availability, the project, and whether I believe my experience can make a meaningful difference. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll be honest about it.

“Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16, KJV

A Few Straight Answers

Who is this for?

A few rural and West-Central Alberta businesses working through a tough stretch where a smaller photo or video project could genuinely help.

Is there a qualification process?

No. There is no application or qualification process. It depends on my schedule, the project and whether I believe I can make a meaningful impact.

How much is the rate reduction?

At least 25% below my standard production rates on projects I accept under this offer.

Is this available all year?

Not necessarily. I’m opening limited room for this during fall and winter 2026, as my regular production schedule allows.

Does the lower rate mean lower quality?

No. I keep the project lean and reduce my rate. I do not reduce the care, quality or usefulness of the finished work.
