Read MoreA few friends and followers asked if they could buy a print of the Northern Lights photo I shot a couple of weeks ago. I’m not interested in selling it — but if you’d like it, you can have it for free.
Both images are high-resolution JPGs taken May 11, 2024 at a friend’s farm outside Drayton Valley. One includes lens correction and a tighter crop. The other keeps the full wide curve from the lens.
The video above is built from every photo I captured that night — a full time-lapse of the lights dancing over Alberta skies. You can watch it in full here on Vimeo.
Both versions are ready for print in full resolution:

Captured May 11, 2024 under calm, clear skies. Location: a friend’s farm just outside Drayton Valley, Alberta. Shot on the Sony A7 IV with wide-angle glass. This photo means something to me — it captures stillness, wonder, and the reminder that God’s creation doesn’t need words to be known.
Enjoy it, share it, print it. Just don’t sell it.
Cheers,
